Between Hanover and Sudmoor Points, this beautiful, largely sandy beach spans for over a mile. The cliffs around Hanover Point were constructed from a prehistoric fossilised forest, making it a popular spot for surfers and fossil hunters alike. Brook Bay is rarely crowded, despite its attractions.
Brook Bay is an excellent beach for a variety of activities, both on and off the beach, and is particularly popular among kite surfers. Swimming is fantastic here, though it can be rocky at times, so bring some good water shoes.
