RAT INFESTED

My family stayed here in November 2024. The first night around 7pm we saw rats in the bedroom and kitchen. We left the property and found alternate accommodation on the IOW. Being a weekend National Trust offered no assistance. On the following Monday NT rang to deny everything refusing to share the pest control report and go on to claim that it is normal for rats to be in and around a farm. Stay elsewhere on the Isle. I do not recommend this cottage and I do not recommend staying with the National Trust.
